What are the main drug-related threats today? What substances are causing the most concern? How are countries responding to Europe’s changing drug problems? Find out more, on 5 June, when the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) launches its European Drug Report 2025: Trends and Developments.
Now in its 30th edition, this flagship report has been a trusted reference for three decades — helping shape Europe’s understanding of the drug situation through evidence-based analysis. As the drug landscape continues to shift, the new report offers crucial insights into today’s challenges and tomorrow’s risks.
Drawing on data from 29 countries (EU 27, Türkiye and Norway), the report examines long-term trends and emerging threats. The comprehensive analysis covers drug use and supply as well as drug-related harms and responses to them.
Over 100 interactive graphics complement the analysis, while interactive dashboards allow users to visualise data and trends at European and national level. Data journalists and researchers will be able to access the source data for easier sharing and re-use. The resource is designed to be read across a range of devices (PCs, mobiles, tablets). Accompanying the report is the 2025 Statistical Bulletin, containing national and city-level datasets.
