Earlier this month, we had the pleasure to host in Lisbon the HCIN Digital communication sub-group meeting in partnership with the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) (1). Held in hybrid format, the event welcomed around 50 participants from EU agencies and bodies, all dedicated to advancing digital communication across the network.
Over two days (9–10 October), communication experts exchanged insights on a wide range of topics: from social media best practices and AI-powered strategies to innovative digital publishing and audiovisual storytelling. The sessions showcased how collaboration and knowledge-sharing are key to building a stronger, more resilient digital presence across the EU landscape.
Highlights included:
- exploring the role of artificial intelligence in content creation and audience engagement;
- sharing creative approaches to storytelling and visual communication; and
- discussing the importance of inter-agency cooperation in navigating digital transformation.
The meeting reaffirmed our shared commitment to excellence in digital communication and demonstrated the value of working together to meet the evolving demands of the digital space.
